I chose to write and illustrate this little picture book to help develop self-esteem in young children. Beyond parenting 3 very unique kids of my own I have had the blessing of being the Endocrine or Home Care Nurse to some amazing young kids.  I put my time, energy and creativity into this little book for all of those children and the one’s who keep coming in the door! We all need to take time with our children to talk about teasing/bullying and loving themselves just as they are – for who they are.
